Office Desks and Modular Workstations

Updated

Omni manufactures office desks and modular workstations in Jiangsu, China: steel products at the Yangzhou headquarters plant and wooden products at the group plant in Rugao, Nantong. The category has 11 series in four subcategories: panel systems, benching, height-adjustable desks and power beam systems. Between them they cover individual workstations, team benches, sit-stand desks and powered space dividers.

Choose a panel system when people need privacy: workstation panels come in 1346 mm and 1701 mm heights, and enclosed AO2 rooms reach 2160 mm. Choose benching when teams collaborate and floor density matters: stations are typically 1220 x 762 mm at a height of 750 mm. Choose a height-adjustable desk when users need to alternate sitting and standing. Add a power beam when a row of desks needs power and data without floor boxes.

All series are marked “Customization Available”. Powered panels are UL 962A / cUL listed, and products are tested to BIFMA standards for commercial furniture. Dealers can combine series in one mixed container, and OEM brands can start from any of the 11 series with their own finishes and branding.

Panel systems separate each person with upright panels and carry the worksurface and power on the panel. Choose them when roles need visual or acoustic privacy.

  • HA has lifting columns inside the panel frame, so the worksurface moves between sitting and standing. It rolls on casters.
  • X-RAIL pairs a metal frame with soundproofing or veneer panels and extends to 120-degree workstations.
  • AO2 adds wooden panels, a UL listed safety certification and Class A fire resistance. It forms enclosed rooms up to 2160 mm high.

Benching places desks side by side on a shared frame, usually at 750 mm height. A single station is typically 1220 x 762 mm. It suits teams that collaborate and floors where density matters.

  • COBO: steel frame with tapered legs, single and double stations, and a meeting-table version.
  • EASY: horseshoe legs; works as benching or as a private-office desk.
  • MAGICK: aluminum-alloy cast legs, sliding tabletop and 120-degree layouts.
  • FRAME A: A-frame legs for long desks, L and T shapes, and meeting tables.

Height-Adjustable Desks

Height-adjustable desks

Height-adjustable desks let users switch between sitting and standing. The three series differ in format:

  • SOLE is a single electric desk with a 1200 x 600 mm top and a front-edge control panel, for home and small offices.
  • LINKER is dual-sided benching in 2, 4 and 6-person formats, with every station adjusting independently.
  • MULTI is a flip-top desk on casters with a 560-1210 mm range, for training and multipurpose rooms.

Power Beam Systems

Power beam systems

A power beam delivers power and data along a row of desks and doubles as a light space divider.

DOCKER uses an 8-wire design with 1 to 4 circuits. The beam is 92 mm deep and 1032 mm high, supports screens for varying privacy, and pairs with height-adjustable or fixed-height desks. Layouts include linear (1P, 2P, 4P), staggered (4S) and cross (4X). It can be adjusted to meet California Title 24 power requirements.

Desks and Workstations: buyer questions

What is the difference between a panel system and benching?

A panel system uses upright panels, typically 1346 mm or 1701 mm high, to separate workstations and carry power. Benching places desks side by side on a shared frame at about 750 mm, with optional screens. Panels give more privacy; benching gives higher density and easier reconfiguration.

Which Omni desks are height-adjustable?

SOLE is a single sit-stand desk, LINKER is dual-sided sit-stand benching in 2, 4 and 6-person formats, and MULTI is a flip-top sit-stand desk on casters. HA is a panel system with lifting columns built into the frame.

Can desks and workstations be customized for OEM orders?

Yes. Every series in the catalog is marked customization available, from finishes and sizes to panel fabric and power configuration. Private-label, bespoke packaging and co-developed products are part of the OEM and ODM program.
