Focus and Privacy Furniture: Panel Workstations and Booths

The problem

People doing analysis, coding, finance or calls need to concentrate, and an open floor does not give them that. Buyers need visual and acoustic separation that does not cost the flexibility of the plan.

How to configure

Match the privacy level to the role. A 1346 mm panel screens a seated person while still allowing eye contact when standing. A 1701 mm panel gives seated privacy. For calls and private meetings, an enclosed unit up to 2160 mm high works as a booth. Add acoustic panel material and glass screens to bring in light.

Which series fit

• AO2 is the main privacy product: a metal frame with wooden panels and external fabric, moisture-resistant and heat-resistant, UL listed, Class A fire rated. Glass screens can be stacked for daylight, and enclosed rooms reach 2160 mm.
• X-RAIL uses soundproofing material or veneer panels and extends to 120-degree irregular workstations. Its power supply is UL safety certified.
• HA adds sit-stand capability: lifting columns sit inside the panel frame, and the unit moves on casters.
• MAGICK gives benching partial privacy through desk screens with accessory rails.
• DOCKER is a light space divider: a power beam, 92 mm deep and 1032 mm high, that carries screens.

Specification tips

• Decide the privacy height per role before choosing panel series.
• For booths, check ventilation, lighting and power in the requirement list. AO2 lounge pods can include a sofa, a small table and built-in sockets.
• Ask for the fire-rating document for the fabric and core you select.
