The problem
An open-plan floor has to seat many people, change layout when teams change, and give every seat power without loose cables. The usual complaints are noise, lack of privacy and too few outlets.
How to configure
Start with the desk module. In COBO, EASY and MAGICK benching, a single station measures 1220 x 762 mm and a two-person bench 2440 x 762 mm, at a typical height of 750 mm. Choose a power feed next: a base or ceiling source for each run, or a DOCKER power beam with 1 to 4 circuits. Add monitor arms and desktop power modules on top. Finish with screens or panels where people need privacy.
Which series fit
- COBO is steel-frame benching with tapered legs, in single and double stations. It suits team workstations.
- MAGICK has aluminum-alloy cast legs, a sliding tabletop over the cable tray, and a 120-degree three-person layout.
- LINKER is dual-sided height-adjustable benching in 2, 4 and 6-person formats. Each station adjusts independently, which fits high-density floors.
- HA and X-RAIL are panel workstations for rows that need partial or full privacy. HA has lifting columns built into the panel frame.
- IPANDA and KONI complete the desk with clamp-on power and a gas-spring monitor arm.
Specification tips
- Confirm how many stations share each circuit before you finalize the power plan.
- Choose fixed 750 mm desks for cost, or LINKER where every seat needs sit-stand.
- Ask for the outlet standard (US, UK, EU, CN or AU) on every power module.
- Request UL 962A / cUL documents if the project is in the US.
- All series are marked “Customization Available”, including finishes and sizes.

Open-Plan Office: buyer questions
What size is a standard benching station?
In Omni's COBO, EASY and MAGICK benching, a single station is 1220 x 762 mm and a two-person bench is 2440 x 762 mm, both at a typical height of 750 mm. LINKER height-adjustable stations are 1200 x 600 mm each.
How is power supplied to a benching run?
COBO offers base or ceiling power sources in single-circuit or four-circuit configurations. DOCKER is a power beam with an 8-wire design for 1 to 4 circuits, and it can be adjusted to meet California Title 24 requirements.
Can benching and panel systems share one floor?
Yes. A common layout puts benching in the center and panel workstations such as HA or X-RAIL along the perimeter for roles that need more privacy. Both are made by Omni and can be quoted in one mixed container.
